HOW TO GET TO US? 

From the central train and bus station
It's a 5 minute walk/2 minute drive. Follow the blue street signs "Hostel Celica".

From the Ljubljana ring highway
Exit at Ljubljana Center. Follow the road signs to the Central Bus and Train station. Then follow the blue street signs "Hostel Celica".
Let us just remind you that you need the vignette to drive on Slovenian highways! 

From the Ljubljana airport (Jože Pučnik Airport)
The airport is 30 km away from Ljubljana. To get to Hostel Celica, we recommend the Markun shuttle which will take you directly to our doorstep in 45 minutes for mere 9 EUR. 

Regular bus line from the airport to the central bus and railway station will take about 75 minutes and cost you around 4 EUR.

If you decide to take a taxi, expect about a 35 EUR fee and 35 minute drive.

PARKING 
Using your own car, you can park in front of the hostel. Parking is at your own risk because the parking lot is not hostel property.
There is also a parking house right next to the hostel on Metelkova street. Approximate price for 1 day parking is 13 EUR. 

LOCAL BUSSES
The nearest local bus station is just around the corner from Hostel Celica on Masarykova street (map, video directions). Local bus no. 2 or 9 is your connection to the city center.

How to pay for riding local busses?
Local buses have an electronic payment system, the URBANA card. You can get yours at Urbanomat vending machines (next to all major local bus stops) or at newsagents for 2 EUR. Then you must upload your credit onto the card (1-50€). At Urbanomat you can pay with cash, credit cards and mobile phone (only available to Slovenians).
Using Urbana: just put the card next to the validating machine on the bus (or elsewhere) and your transaction is complete. One transaction on the bus will cost you 0.80€ and that gives you 90 minutes to ride any bus line you want.

You can also get the combo Urbana - Ljubljana Tourist Card, which will get you free admission to the city's major sights, free guided city tours, free rides on city buses, the tourist boat, the tourist road train, and the funicular to Ljubljana Castle. You will pay €23.00 for a 24-hour card, €30.00 for a 48-hour card or €35.00 for a 72-hour card. Urbana - Ljubljana Tourist Card is available at our reception.

ATM – cash machine
Exit hostel Celica, turn right and go across the parking lot, turn right and then left. At the end of the street there is the cash machine. (map, directions, video)

Convenient store
Exit Hostel Celica, turn right and go across the parking lot, turn right and then left. At the end of the street you’ll the cash machine. The store “Mercator” is just around the corner.

Pharmacy, health center
