Guided tours

Hostel Celica is filled with stories, art installations and historical facts. The building itself is so special we could write novels about it. But don’t worry, we won’t bore you with lengthy texts. Instead, we will invite you to join one of our interesting guided tours.

  • Our guided tour begins with a short walk through Metelkova Mesto, as the history of this autonomous cultural centre is closely connected to the history of Hostel Celica.
  • You will learn about the history of Hostel Celica and about the transformation of a former prison into one of the hippest hostels around.
  • You will get a chance to see all the areas of the hostel and learn about their transformation.
  • You will peek into the former prison cells and hear their special stories.

Our guests can join our guided tours every day at 1 PM without any extra charge.
Guided tours are available to all other visitors and groups (school groups included!) by prior arrangement.
