Celica rocks, dances, moves, and grooves at the hottest concert events in town – for the third year in a row! Once again, we will spend Summer Thursdays in our majestic Summer Garden in the company of some even more majestic bands! This time, we’re in for the most rockin' evening in Ljubljana! Our summer garden will welcome local noise rock alternatives Suzi Soprano, presenting their latest album Weltschmerz, and they’ll be joined by Croatian garage rockers Borben Dallas & His Filipino Cupids.

The distinctive sound of Suzi Soprano comes from a guitar that also serves as a bass, heavy drums, and a vocalist shaped by the hardcore scene of the 80s. They will get you dancing, headbanging, and shouting. In the 6 years since their first gig, they have played numerous concerts across Slovenia, as well as in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, and Croatia. They have released 2 EPs and 2 full-length albums. Their hypnotic mix of metal, punk, post-hardcore, and noise rock must be experienced live.

Borben Dallas & His Filipino Cupids is a solo project by Borna Maksan (Nemeček, Baden-Baden, Stidnice, Two Faces of Gala…). He released his first single "Too Convenient" with an accompanying music video in mid-2022, the second "Clueless Vampire" at the end of 2022, and the third "You Can't Always Blame It On Poor Vision" in September 2023. Since he plays and records the basic instrumentation of each song himself, the production and release of new material are somewhat slower than would be the case with a conventional band. Given this, we can expect the debut album in 2024. At his premiere performance at the Indirekt Festival, Laura Matijašević (Nemanja) joined him on bass guitar, Matej Perić (Nemanja, Porto Morto) on drums, and the legendary Leo Beslać (all bands in Croatia) on keyboards as part of the accompanying band Filipino Cupids.
