Celica rocks, dances, moves, and grooves at the hottest concert events in town – for the third year in a row! Once again, we will spend Summer Thursdays in our majestic Summer Garden in the company of some even more majestic bands! For the second Thursday, we chose something special. Weird. Slightly mad. Silly and fun. Angry. Danceable. And yet impossible to describe. We chose Ni (FR) and U$IŁ (SLO). A concert you don't want to miss.

For anyone already familiar with Ni, the title of their third album is bound to raise a smile. Fol Naïs, literally "born mad" in Old French, or the appellation given to the fools and jesters of history's great rulers. This symbol of impertinence couldn't be more appropriate for this new release from the most unclassifiable of Rhône-Alpes quartets. Complex, dissonant, shaggy, it's all there. But their formidable inventiveness and unexpected danceable side make them a leader in the musical niche. Math Rock? Noise? Metal? Jazz? U$IŁ is a duo consisting of Maksim Špelko (Hillbilly With A Chainsaw, Kormorana, Generator) on drums, and Janez Weiss (Broken Lock) on 8-string guitar. They play metalized drum'n'riff, i.e., high-octane djent/metal without vocals. Their second album, titled 'NO I IN AI,' was released this February, and their unconventional approach to music creation will satisfy all music connoisseurs.
