Celica Špila is back in 2025 – still dancing, grooving, and moving at the hottest concert events in town!

For the fourth year in a row, we’re turning our summer garden into the epicenter of live music in Ljubljana. Every Thursday in July and August, we’ll host amazing bands, an even better vibe, and that special kind of magic that only happens on our Summer Garden!

Goblyns, coming in hot from Germany, will bring us a healthy dose of psychedelic fuzzy rock, and to top it all off, we asked our local garage rockers Rikki Neon to keep them company!

Goblyns masterfully blend funk, soul, power and psychedelic grooves. A (mostly) instrumental trio, made up of South African brothers Liam and Francis Broek and longtime friend Giovanni Votano, was born out of a craving to pour out the authentic joy they get from uniting with their respective weapons. Drawing influence from bands such as Kikagaku Moyo, The Meters, Khruangbin, W.I.T.C.H and CAN, the boys concoct a pure music that can not be directly compared.

Their debut full length “Hunki Bobo”, released in May ’24 with Crazysane Records and toured through Europe, was met with critical praise following their jump onto the scene with in 2023 with EP “This Is Spaghettification”. Smashing through barriers with driving krautrock hypnosis, fuzzy Zamrock riffs, dreamy guitar psychosis, sticky syncopated drum and bass hooks and a nod to Motown funk, the innovative sound of the Goblyns is hard to brush off and can’t be slowed down.

A second highly anticipated record, set to be released in June 2025, promises to expand the sonic soundscapes and introduce drummer Frank’s rich vocal melodies and smooth falsetto hooks for a few tracks. Look out for coming up shows at showcase festivals around the continent and an extensive tour of the new record.

Rikki Neon listens to summer hits for influencers. He wants to cancel his debt and find a renewable source of love. He reads Bundesliga Magazin, and his razor runs on four-phase current. White heads and pretty faces erase his memory. Rikki Neon is rock’n’roll, pure and simple.
