Celica rocks, dances, moves, and grooves at the hottest concert events in town - for the fifth year in a row! For our fifth birthday, we’ll be hosting an unforgettable concert party in July and August 2026, featuring a top lineup of local and international bands!

One of the most energetic bands live, they made a killer appearance at Hostel Celica in 2024: Mother Vulture are back! Armed with a brand-new album, Cartoon Violence, they are going to prove, once again, they are on of the best rock bands out there.

They will be joined on stage by Maxilla, the winners of this year’s Špil liga competition.

High energy turbo-rock with an infamously chaotic live show. Furiously hard working and proudly DIY, South-West noisemakers Mother Vulture continue to push the boundaries of what is possible as an unsigned and independent band having sold out headline shows across the UK including the 400 capacity Thekla in Bristol in October 2023, a show which was nominated for DHP Gig of the Year. Mother Vulture are loud as hell with soaring vocals, riffs for days and a reputation as one of the greatest live bands in the UK.

Their debut album Mother Knows Best has been described as “an explosion of monster hooks, punkoid ferocity, psychedelic moments and modern twists” by Classic Rock and “somewhere between Royal Blood at their fuzziest, Biffy Clyro at their heaviest and Queens of the Stone Age at their most crazed and chaotic” by Kerrang!.

Mother Vulture have just released their sophomore record Cartoon Violence in January 2026, and they can’t wait to present the new material to Slovenian audience.

Maxilla is a young rock band based in Ljubljana, consisting of five members aged between 17 and 20. Although the band has been active for just over a year, they have already developed a distinctive sound that blends elements of psychedelic rock and hard rock.

Alongside their original music, they also perform selected covers of ex-Yu rock, Slovenian rock, and international rock classics. Their original songs are characterized by energetic riffs, atmospheric transitions, and a strong youthful stage presence.
