The upcoming exhibition is a presentation of paintings by Erna Krošelj, a graphic designer and visual artist who intervenes in the physical space by painting on various materials. In the search for her own style, the artist initially created independent paintings using acrylic mixed techniques mainly on canvas, but gradually turned towards painting on wood. This was followed by installations and composite paintings on a range of materials including furniture, scrap wood, shelves and doors, table tops, and so on. Erna Krošelj is interested in eco projects, sustainable solutions, reuse, practical utility and modularity.

ERNA KROŠELJ was born on 9 May 1980 in Ljubljana. She commenced her independent career path in her late twenties. In 2016, she completed her education at IT: Grafik und Webdesign (Fohnsdorf, Austria). In the same year, she obtained a certificate as an Adobe® Certified Expert and founded the company E-CREATE, where she works as a graphic and web designer. Today she lives and creates in Graz, Austria.
