Slovenian Cell

Boštjan Novak (Slovenia)

The cell is bright, playful and full of warm colours. The walls are decorated with paintings and reliefs of walking, symbolising freedom of movement, something that is normally limited in a prison. The artist used ecological colours in the paintings, giving the space energy and liveliness. The cell has three beds, positioned so that the space remains open and dynamic.
