The cell was created by Slovenian artists associated with the group Odprti krog (Open Circle). One of its interesting features is a round cone, which is actually a remnant of an attempt to demolish the building. The attempted demolition also created a hole that has been turned into a window, thus symbolically changing a negative act into a positive one. The stones that fell into the room during the demolition attempt have also been given a new function by the artists: they now serve as steps next to the bed. The column, which has both a decorative and structural function, was brought from the Faculty of Theology by Ira Zorko. The artists drew inspiration for the design from Japanese culture, as the bed turns into a space for socialising by lowering a wooden surface, creating a table.
