The cell was designed by a sculptor, which is evident immediately upon entering. A special feature of the cell is its floor, which is partially glazed and houses a number of statuettes. The first statuette (in the far left, top corner) was made by Anthony Gormley in Ljubljana. He later sent us sixteen more statuettes. The other statuettes are the work of visitors. On the eastern wall, English painter Richard Whitlock created an image of what he saw through the window at the time: A Square Without Historical Memory.
“Beautiful stay from start to finish. Everything was clean, cozy and well organized. Met amazing people and made great memories here.”
